Customer Service Representative (Teller)

Job Description

  • Utah County
  • Full-Time
  • Base Pay $10.00 - $14.00 (DOE) + Quarterly Performance Bonuses + Benefits

Primary Responsibilities

  • Customer Service Representatives will open new accounts
  • Process checking, savings and loan payment transactions
  • Provide exceptional customer service in person and on the telephone. 
  • Provide back up to office management.
  • Work some or all Saturdays (9:00 am – 1:00 pm) 

Minimum Qualifications

  • 1 year banking or other relevant experience preferred
  • Excellent customer service and computer skills
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Ability to function independently within a multi-task environment

Loan Collections Supervisor

Job Description

  • Orem, Utah
  • Full-Time
  • Base Pay $30,000 - $40,000 annually (DOE) + Quarterly Performance Bonuses + Benefits

Primary Responsibilities

  • While adhering to company policies and procedures, demonstrates good customer service skills while initiating outbound calls and receiving inbound calls from customers.
  • Negotiates account resolution and accurately documents actions within the collection systems and scans all written collection correspondence to the borrowers loan file while maintaining company performance and productivity standards.
  • Sends out monthly system generated loan past due and loan maturity reports to loan officers.
  • Maintains up-to-date customer contact information in the collections systems.
  • Escalates and assists the loan officers with calls as needed.
  • Will perform advanced loss prevention activities (i.e. skip tracing, collection letters, bankruptcies and foreclosure activities with the bank’s legal department).
  • Prepare monthly 30-day past due reporting for senior management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Superior communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • College Degree or formalized education, business or related degree is a plus
  • Prior collections experience a plus
